Powder River Shredders (or "PRS") provides secure, onsite document destruction with their state-of-the-art shred truck. Documents are destroyed onsite, ensuring customers that through a secure chain of custody process that their valuable information is protected. The customer can see the documents being destroyed via an on-board camera to a screen on the outside of the truck further ensuring peace of mind.

The resulting shredded paper fiber is unloaded at a secure location until it baled. It is then shipped in a locked semi-truck box until it reaches the recycling facility where it is made into more paper products.

PRS is proud to be a green company committed to doing their part in environmental stewardship with the ultra-low emissions shred truck and recycling process.

Rod and Linda Burnett are long-time residents of Wyoming. They wanted to start a business that would bring a needed (big- city) service to their neighbors in Wyoming.

PRS started from a chance remark by a business owner stating that he'd pay someone to shred his old documents. With that idea, Rod and Linda spent a year thoroughly studying the industry.

Powder River Shredders began servicing customers in October 2009 and is racking up the miles moving from site to site. They provide service for towns in the greater Powder River Basin. This includes all towns in Sheridan, Johnson, Campbell, Natrona, Crook, and Converse counties.

PRS is insured, bonded, and compliant with HIPAA, HITECH, GLBAA. It is a current member of NAID. NAID, the National Association of Information Destruction, is an international organization that sets industry standards and monitors the professionalism of its members. It keeps members current on all applicable laws. Customers can feel confident when using a NAID member.
